A Medical Billing Specialist plays a vital role in the healthcare revenue cycle by managing the complete billing process from start to finish. The specialist is responsible for accurately reviewing patient information, assigning appropriate medical codes, and preparing insurance claims in accordance with payer guidelines and healthcare regulations.
